Membership Has Rewards!
The Country Doctor Museum is owned by the Medical Foundation of East Carolina University, a non-profit organization that is dependant upon individual and corporate donations to sustain continued growth. The Foundation operates the Country Doctor Museum as a separate entity, however, and re-invests the museum's earned and donated funds directly back into the historic site.
The membership program provides a means for individuals, families, and businesses to make annual donations in exchange for museum benefits such as gift shop discounts. Membership fees in turn pay for educational programs, exhibits, and special events. Donations are also tax deductible.
We encourage everyone to become a member and assist the Country Doctor Museum in preserving the heritage of America's rural health care professionals. Your support is vital to our success!
Membership Plans
Individual |
$25.00 per person |
For one year the Individual Member receives free admission for themselves and one guest per visit, the museum's bi-annual newsletter, and a 20% discount on gift shop merchandise.

Family |
$35.00 per family |
For one year the Family Member receives free admission for all immediate family members (parents, grandparents, children, and siblings), the museum's bi-annual newsletter, and a 20% discount on gift shop merchandise.

Patron |
$100 per family |
For one year the Patron Member receives free admission for all immediate family members (parents, grandparents, children, and siblings), the museum's bi-annual newsletter, a 20% discount on gift shop merchandise, and recognition on the museum's website.
Multiple Patron memberships are awarded for each $100 contribution and the donor receives five additional free admission passes.

Corporate |
$150 per business |
For one year the Corporate Member receives ten free admission passes for distribution by the member, the museum's bi-annual newsletter, a 20% discount on gift shop merchandise, and recognition on the museum's website.
Multiple Corporate memberships are awarded for each $150 contribution and the donor receives additional free admission passes. Additionally, Corporate Members also have the first opportunity to support museum activities through sponsorships, advertising, and other means.
