The museum’s archivist, Layne Carpenter, helped us develop and install a new exhibit at East Carolina University’s Family Medicine Center. The display shares a wealth of information about medical education for the country doctor during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Some of the highlights are sketches and doodles from anatomy lectures, as well as an analysis of the impact from the 1911 Flexner Report. The exhibit is located on the 2nd floor of the Family Medicine Center and will be on view until 2022.
